Allright... here's the story:

Last to remain was born after Aggravation's demise in September 2003. For those of you who doesn`t know; Aggravation was a metalcore band with a lot of beatdown parts and influenced by bands such as: irate, hatebreed, throwdown and full blown chaos. Our second guitarist quit our band because he wanted to concentrate more on his metal band. Same for the vocalist, he also decided to call it quits. So we broke up.

But 3 of the members still wanted to continue on something in the same vein, but with more fast parts, more breakdowns and shorter in-your-face-songs. In the beginning, Last To Remain started out as a 6 piece band, but after some rehearsals/line-up changes we ended up as a 4 piece. Then after a while we got a second guitarist, Morten, and things was working pretty good for a while. Then our singer decided to quit due to the fact that he got a kid and did not have as much time as the band demanded of him. Then after about a month of frustration and the search for a new one, we finally found a replacement. His name is Boris, swedish hardworking hardcorekid, and he is the final edition to this heavy caliber 5-piece artillery.

Last To Remain is not a straight edge band, but two members live and follow the straight edge lifestyle. So far we have played 6-7 shows and the response have been much better than first expected. The crowd has been pretty supportive and moshing it up big time, YEAH!!

In May 2004 we recorded a demo. It's entitled "First mission: demo 2004". The result turned out pretty good. 9 tracks of brutal beatdown.. Check it out! Stay tuned for updates!
