Achilles Last Stand has been around since the beginning of 2003. It all started with just the ambition to do something different than we were used to do. Our first demo was recorded later that year and it did not sound anything near the brutal sound you hear today. Most of the songs were instrumental and very stoner influenced. Not long after we've recorded our first demo we had our first line up change its no need to go any further with band members but lets just say that we.ve had numoerous changes since 2003. Last year Micke jonied in on bass and with him we started to build the steady core that is essential to us. Over the years our sound has changed quite a lot not by purpose though, it was just something that came natural to us. The music went from somewhat stoner influenced to straight forward furious metalcore with some swedish crust punk vibes. And in the beginning of 2006 we signed a deal with Dead Vibrations Industry and that pretty much leaves us were we are today. Peace!!!
